About Our Service
Do you service commercial properties in St. Augustine? We focus on residential properties. If you manage a small commercial property or HOA common area in St. Johns County, call +1 (904) 331-8008 to discuss your specific needs.
Do you offer one-time visits or do I have to sign up for recurring service? Both. One-time visits are available — overgrown lawn catch-up, pre-listing clean-up, post-storm cleanup, or a single fertilization application. We charge a flat rate for one-time visits. No pressure to continue.
What if I already have a lawn care company and want to switch? Call+1 (904) 331-8008 and we schedule a free same-day evaluation. You cancel your current service on your own timeline. We do not contact your previous provider on your behalf.
Do you work with property management companies in St. Augustine? Yes. We work with property managers for residential portfolios, HOA common areas, and short-term rental properties across St. Johns County. Call +1 (904) 331-8008 or email info@yourdomain.com for multi-property pricing.
About St. Augustine Grass
What is the difference between St. Augustine grass and Floratam? Floratam is a cultivar — a specific variety — of St. Augustine grass (Stenotaphrum secundatum). It is the most widely planted variety in St. Johns County. Palmetto, Captiva, and Seville are other St. Augustine grass cultivars. When people say “St. Augustine grass” in this area, they usually mean Floratam.
Can I grow St. Augustine grass from seed? No. St. Augustine grass and all its cultivars — Floratam, Palmetto, Seville — cannot be established from seed. You must use sod, plugs, or sprigs. Any product sold as “St. Augustine grass seed” is not what it claims to be.
My lawn is half Floratam and half Palmetto. Is that a problem? Not a problem — it is common. Floratam typically grows in full-sun areas. Palmetto grows in partial shade under live oak canopy. Many older St. Augustine neighborhoods have both in the same yard. We identify both varieties before the first visit and adjust our program for each section.
Scheduling and Logistics
What happens if it rains on my scheduled service day? Light rain does not affect most service visits. Heavy rain or active thunderstorms require rescheduling. We notify you before your scheduled time if we need to move the visit — never after. We reschedule within 24 to 48 hours.
Do you work in gated communities in Nocatee or Palencia? Yes. Provide gate access information when scheduling your first visit. We work regularly in gated communities across Nocatee, Palencia, and World Golf Village.
Do you provide service to second homes and properties whose owners are not local? Yes. Many of our clients live out of state and manage their St. Augustine properties remotely. We send before and after photos after every visit and communicate by text or email. We can coordinate with local property managers or neighbors for access.
Can I pause service for a few weeks without canceling? Yes. Call+1 (904) 331-8008 and let us know your pause dates. We hold your crew assignment and resume on your requested restart date. No fees for pausing.
Billing and Payments
When is payment due? Payment is due upon completion of each service visit unless you are on a monthly maintenance plan. Monthly plans are invoiced at the beginning of each month.
What payment methods do you accept? [List your accepted payment methods — credit card, check, Venmo, Zelle, etc.]
Do you charge a cancellation fee? No — if you cancel with at least 24 hours notice. Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice may incur a fee of $[X].
